Seagrass Design is the collective inspirations of Jamie & Kimberley McCabe. With a mutual love of art, design, fashion & all things creative we developed our own independent label where art & fashion beautifully collide.
Seagrass Design's values lie in creating high quality products made in an ethical & sustainable way. Our designs are largely influenced by the beauty found in nature, & presented in fun, vibrant & colourful patterns.
In 2016 we released our first fashion collection. Since then our label has continued to grow & diversify to where we now create exclusive collections of women's swimwear, clothing & fashion accessories. We also create limited ranges of men's & kids clothing.
We design, cut & sew all clothing garments locally here in Tasmania.
We have an amazing team of local dressmakers who make your garments with love & careful attention to detail.
Local production allows us to ensure our high standards & ethical values are maintained, whilst also providing the ability to offer some small customisation options for that extra special service. Our garments are largely 'Made on Order' which allows us to cut each garment with careful consideration to pattern placement, whilst also making sure we are using every thread of fabric as sustainably as possible.
Seagrass release 8 limited edition small batch collections each year. We believe that true style never goes out of fashion so our designs are made to cross seasons for repeated wear over many years.
